Sushi Masa in Sioux Falls

Have to go eat at Sushi Masa, every time I'm back visiting South Dakota. They serve up some of the best sushi I've had, and it's one of my favorite guilty pleasures. (Maybe it's the nostalgia) The staff is always prompt and courteous. We always do a big group and eat family style and there hasn't been something I haven't truly enjoyed. Try the fish soup when temp drop so delicious.

Delicious food and great service! I love their shrimp tempura roll, tamago roll, and clear soup.

Highest quality sushi and Japanese food in Sioux Falls, easily. You can tell everything is made with care, with some well crafted maki as well. Old school cool, with a "the locals go here" vibe

Just as delicious as this photo looked. Fresh and wonderful. I learned a lot about sake by ordering their sake sampler that came with an informative key. Very nice server who answered my questions without making me feel like a dummy. I would definitely go here again if I am in Sioux Falls.

Sushi was okay, nice presentation (I definitely understand how difficult it can be to get fresh, quality fish/seafood in SoDak, so this "passed" my quality test), but was not expecting to be here for an hour and 45 minutes waiting for 3 rolls... We were in at 6:15 p.m. and seated immediately, with most of the tables being full throughout the course of the evening, but I don't understand how/why it took so long to: 1) Order our food, and 2) Get our food. Service was sooo slow and honestly did not seem to care whether or not we were enjoying our dining experience. Second of 2 trips here and I don't think I will be returning...

The sushi's was ok. We have eaten better. The service was terrible. We have to wait one hour and a half for our order. It was so slow.

Loved the Dynamite Hand Roll (mixed seafood with mayo). The shrimp tempura and gyoza were tasty.The Oyako Don was watery and not recommended.A small and quaint restaurant. Good date atmosphere.

This is the best and most authentic sushi place in Sioux Falls. If there are bad reviews about sushi masa it is probably because those people like more Americanized sushi. Which is fine but this place doesn’t try to do that. If you want the best most authentic sushi place in Sioux Falls go here. Absolutely amazing sushi selection and the soft shell crab is amazing!

I never really liked Sushi but I figured I’d give it another try with my friend who loves it. So good!!! Oh my! Loved everything we got! Everything else was perfectly cooked, beautiful plating, and so incredibly tasty. Service was awesome. Can’t wait to go back. Good job guys I don’t give excellent reviews often. Anyone that’s thinking to try them must go. ❤️

Truly a one of a kind experience. Everything is extremely fresh and prepared to perfection. Owner prepares every piece of sushi and does it with the care of a true Master. So lucky to have this restaurant here in Sioux Falls. Amazing.

Amazing food. A real gem in Sioux Falls! The owners are so nice and created a wonderful oasis in our little city.
